Inflicted

Mom?
Am I gonna die?
They told me at recess that I got it
and I'm afraid.
We all did our best but it caught me
and some of the other guys.
I was doing my best but I tripped
and Mary Ann Beilczarski got me.
She jumped on me right by the swings
and she kissed me, Mom!
It was gross but worse than that
she gave me Cooties, Mom.
Am I gonna die?
